3D printing takes place in archeology, specifically in ancient Egypt. This achievement could give many opportunities in the field of Egyptology.
Thanks to the Computed Tomography (CT Scan), a skull scan of the head of the Meritamón mummy of high quality was performed, giving rise to a model of great quality to be printed.
The hardware used was the Ultimaker printer, working for 140 hours managed to print the skull in 2 parts.
